I finally got into my studio this past weekend and I am psyched. It took a few hours to clean it up, but it was time well spent since I see myself spending a lot of time in there this summer. Getting back into my studio also means I can finally work on some large-scale commissions I've been wanting to do (too big and messy for my dining room table). I bought some acrylic spray paint a few months ago, they've been calling to me, sitting there, staring at me in my kitchen. I FINALLY got to experiment with them for a bit on Sunday. This painting is the result of yesterday's trial run and I think I love it. I mixed some liquid acrylics in there, which lends an interesting effect, I think. Many more experiments to come with this medium, but so far I'm in love.
