Meditating on Color and Movement

In this fast-paced world we live in, sometimes it is hard to remember to stop, take the time to really look around, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us. In Look Closely my intentions are to invite close looking, for the viewer to absorb the work as a whole, and to give them a reason to pause their day and take the time to digest the work's intricate details . This piece focuses on color, movement, and how the two work together to create a visually stimulating work of art. The process of making this painting was extremely meditative and I hope the viewing experience is the same.
